Sting Soccer Club proudly presents the “Emerging Talent Academy” (ETA). Sting’s Emerging Talent Academy is an exclusive program that serves to provide players with supplemental training to further enhance awareness and ability in several areas. Developed by our ETA committee, the program is an extension to the Sting Soccer Club curriculum. Players’ are further challenged to develop the technical and tactical expertise to succeed at the highest levels of play.
The ETA is a program designed with a large emphasis on individual player development. These 3 principles are central to the curriculum design and programming;
With various offerings throughout the year such as 3-day camps to multiple week programs, The program targets players that are serious about improving their ability and hugely passionate about soccer.

4-Week Sports Performance Program (Specific to Soccer), June 1-29, 2026
2- sessions per week with the following themes:
Day 1- Acceleration and Power
Day 2- Change of Direction, Breaking and Durability
The first two weeks will focus on laying a foundation of proper mechanics and landing. The 2nd half of the program will build off what we have learned by adding speed, sharp/better quality reps and competitions.
The goal of this program is to introduce athletes to performance training specific to the demands of soccer. While each age group has slightly different goals and progressions, the overall goal is to help develop each young person into a more well-rounded athlete.
Ages 7-10:
•Movement skills and coordination
•Safe landing and stopping mechanics
•Sprint Fundamentals
•Light plyometrics
•Injury resilience through body control
•Conditioning through games/competition
Ages 11-14:
•Movement skills and coordination
•Change of Direction with reaction and sharper angles
•Sprint Fundamentals, progressing into acceleration training
•Light Plyometrics with a progression into more advanced
•Injury resilience through strength circuits
•Conditioning through games/competition
Ages 15-18:
•Movement skills and coordination
•High-quality reactive Change of Direction.
•Sprint mechanics and training including Acceleration to Max Velocity work.
•Plyometrics training meeting the athletes where they are at and advancing.
•Strong hamstring, groin, calf durability
•Conditioning through games/competition
